    • Raw material: Mature seeds of biennial herbaceous evening primrose 
    • Mainstream: low-temperature cold pressing combined with refining and purification; according to national standards, pharmaceutical-grade GLA ≥ 7.5%, while premium health supplements contain 8%–12%. 
    • Appearance: Pale yellow, clear oil with a light, herbal fragrance. 
    • Classification: A food‑medicine homology product + a certified “blue‑cap” health supplement; an auxiliary ingredient for lowering blood lipids listed in the Pharmacopoeia; not intended for use as everyday cooking oil.

It is found in very high concentrations only in certain plant oils. 
    • Linoleic acid LA (common Omega-6): 70%–75% 
    • Oleic acid (Omega-9): 8%–12% 
    • Alpha-linolenic acid (Omega-3): <3% (hardly contributes to brain health)
